About Us
Our Family
Our family lives in the quiet town of Ravenna. Besides our two young daughters, we have Tilly (our F1 goldendoodle), Frannie (our yorkie), and four chickens. We are located halfway between Grand Rapids and Muskegon. Our puppies are raised in our home, in a healthy, loving environment with lots of socialization.
Happy, Healthy Puppies
Puppies will have their first health check and have their dewclaws removed within about 5 days of birth. When the puppies are about 4 weeks old, they will be weaned from their mother and onto puppy food. They will also be transitioned from their whelping box to a bigger play area. At this time, personality, color, and type of coat will be more evident, so it's a great time for families to determine which puppy will best fit their family! They will receive their first set of shots and be wormed at about 7-8 weeks of age. They will also receive their second health check at that time to ensure a clean bill of health before going to their new homes. At 8 weeks, puppies can begin to go to their new homes! Each puppy will be sent to his/her new home with a small bag of food and a blanket with mom's scent on it to help with the transition.
A Furever Friend
Goldendoodles are by nature very obedient, intelligent dogs. They love to snuggle, but have seemingly endless energy when it comes to playing! This makes them a wonderful member of the family and great playmate for children! By definition, a classic first generation Goldendoodle (F1) is 50% Golden Retriever and 50% Poodle. They most often have a shaggy or wavy coat. A back cross Goldendoodle (F1b) is 75% Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever. This results in a more fluffy, curlier coat that is much less likely to shed and great for people with allergies!
